We highly recommend everyone to REGISTER ONLINE (once it is available). It is convenient and free. Once the registration is active, a link will appear on the school website's main page. What are minimum age requirements for enrollment? + For admission to Pre-K (ages 3 and 4 years), child must be 3 years old on the cutoff date, which is Sep 1, 2025. Children born after this date are NOT eligible to register for Pre-K. For admission to KG, child must be 5 years old on the cutoff date, also Sep 1, 2025. Children born after this date are NOT eligible to register for KG. A birth certificate is required as proof of age. When do classes for the year 2025-2026 begin? + The classes begin on Sunday September 14th, 2025 at 11:00 AM. What subjects are taught? + Quran Studies (first period) and Islamic Studies (second period). Quran Studies include Surah memorization and recitation with proper Tajweed and correct pronunciation of letters and words. Islamic Studies focuses on Fard A'in (age appropriate individually obligatory) knowledge. What is the fee structure? + Tuition fee is $200 per student for the first student and $180 for each additional student. The fee includes the cost of lunch. The tuition amount is for the full academic year 2025-2026. Kindergarten fee is $60 per student per semester and $120 for the whole school year. Pre-K fee is $50 per student per semester and $100 for the whole school year. For those parents who want to pay each semester, tuition fee is due at the time of registration for the Fall semester and by Jan 25th, 2025 for the Spring semester. When will I be able to buy books? + Books are needed and will be available for sale on the second week of school, September 21st, 2025. Book prices will range from $30 to $50 per student. How do I pay for registration? + If you register online, you can pay by credit card through PayPal. We also accept cash and checks for registration. The checks are payable to MCCGP. Please write the purpose of payment in the memo field if paying by check. What are school timings? + The school starts at 11:00 AM. The school typically begins with an assembly followed by the first period (Quran Studies), lunch, recess, second period (Islamic Studies), and Duhr prayers (2:00 PM). When Eastern Standard Time is in effect, the Duhr prayer will be in between the two periods (after the recess). Please note that Duhr prayer is part of the school curriculum and schedule. Therefore, we request that parents make every effort to pray Duhr with the congregation before leaving. Why is arriving on time so important? + Although it goes without saying, we cannot over-emphasize the importance of starting school on time. The school starts with an assembly of all students and teachers in the social hall. We expect all students to be present at this time. This helps establish good scheduling practice, gives teacher/students enough face-time, and facilitates timely lunch and prayer breaks. Please be cognizant of this and make every effort to be on time. Where will I find information about school closings? + Scheduled school closings are listed on the school calendar. For emergency school closings (for example due to inclement weather), the information will be posted on the home page of this website and will be relayed to all parents via email and text by 9:00 AM that morning. Please make sure to check either of these sources before you leave for school. Still Have Questions?
